MTA NSW Member Night in Lismore

L to R. David Marston - Angelo Bordin - Brown & Hurley Group Pty Ltd

Your Association schedules regular information seminars at various locations across the State. These localised events are designed to inform and bring Members up to speed with what's happening in the automotive industry. These evening sessions are designed to be big on information, yet small enough to ask any questions Members may have.

L to R. David Marston - Ross and Colleen Trease - Ballina Brake Exhaust and Clutch

MTA NSW appreciates those 42 Members who took the time to come along to our most recent event in Lismore held on Wednesday 15 August. MTA NSW Divisional Manager, Gary O'Sullivan, presented the legislative updates which were an excellent opportunity for Members to raise questions both during, and one-on-one, after the event.

Other MTA NSW presenters included Employment Relations Manager, Albert Baumgartner, Divisional Manager, Brenton Daniel and Mathew Webster who spoke on the MTA Training services which are available via the Association. Brief presentations were also heard from the guest speaker, Rod Allan, from SafeWork NSW, and our key Business Partners represented by Nathan Spear from MTAA Super and Rod Mildenhall from Capricorn.

Towards the end of the evening Automotive Mechanical Repairers Division Chairman, David Marston, presented 'Certificates of Recognition' to some Members for their years of continuous membership with the Association.

Again, congratulations to those Members and thank you for your continuous membership and support.  Many Members stayed back and spoke to MTA NSW staff and business partners, with positive feedback provided by those in attendance.

We encourage all our valued Members to pre-register and attend these important meetings, with the next event on the North Coast scheduled to be on the 19 September in Coffs Harbour. Keep a look out for details to be emailed to you and to hear from your local MTA Area Manager, Miles Todd.

These information nights provide an excellent opportunity for experts of the industry from MTA NSW to be on hand to respond to Members questions and to actively support local Members in their business endeavours.
