Instant Asset Write-off Benefits by 30 June 2020

The Instant Asset Write-Off allowance has been one of the stimulus initiatives of the Federal Government to assist industry during the COVID-19 pandemic. How this initiative applies to the Motor Dealer network has been a question raised by Members and we have obtained from the ATO guidelines as to how the asset write off applies in particular to the purchase of vehicles.
Members are encouraged to utilise these guidelines in the operation and promotion of their business in the lead up to the end of the Financial Year.
